Growth Line: Expansion of Women’s Recovery Program
CEO: Jason Gonzalez
Organization: 4th Dimension Sobriety
Objective:
Capitalize on a unique opportunity to expand 4th Dimension Sobriety’s women’s recovery program, increasing our impact by adding more beds. With minimal structural adjustments, this expansion will allow us to accommodate more women in recovery, providing stability and growth for the organization and community alike. This project aligns with our mission to offer accessible, compassionate recovery support in Milwaukee.
Current Situation:
Currently, our women’s program is running at full capacity. Demand for recovery support has continued to grow, and the lack of available beds leaves women in need waiting, at risk, or underserved. Recently, properties well-suited for recovery housing have become available, giving us an immediate way to expand our women’s program without the heavy lift of setting up entirely new infrastructure. By securing these properties, we can add the bed capacity we need, staffed by one additional person, and keep the program sustainable through self-funded growth.
Strategic Imperative:
Why this matters for 4th Dimension Sobriety and the people we serve:
Increased Capacity: Expanding our bed count allows us to reach more women right here in Milwaukee. This means fewer women waiting for a stable recovery environment and more lives positively impacted by our work.
Revenue Growth: Every additional bed comes with program funding that offsets expansion costs. By adding just one staff member, this growth is structured to pay for itself and contribute back to our operations.
Sustainable Operations: With minimal renovations, the infrastructure of these new properties is already aligned with our needs. This expansion will come at a low cost, making it a logical and manageable next step for 4th Dimension Sobriety.
Mission Requirements:
Property Acquisition: Secure properties in line with our standards, confirming zoning compatibility and minimizing setup time.
Staffing: Hire one additional Residential Care Coordinator to support the expanded women’s program.
Funding and Sustainability: Ensure program funding covers the expanded services, making this growth financially self-sustaining.
Revised Project Timeline:
Immediate Planning: Assess and confirm property suitability by December 2024.
Funding and Acquisition: Complete funding efforts and secure properties by February 2025.
Staff Recruitment: Onboard the additional staff member by March 2025.
Program Expansion Launch: Open expanded facilities for residents by April 2025.

Strategic Impact:
This expansion is a straightforward and effective move to increase our capacity and make a larger impact on women’s recovery in Milwaukee. By acting on this opportunity, we’ll bring in sustainable revenue, add necessary bed space, and deliver critical support to more women seeking recovery. This isn’t just about adding beds; it’s about 4th Dimension Sobriety strengthening its presence and reinforcing its commitment to helping people reclaim their lives. This is a mission-driven, financially sound expansion that sets us up for meaningful growth and deeper community support.
